Sagarika, armed with a doctorate from IIT Delhi in sustainable mobility behaviour, is on a mission to make transportation greener than a kale smoothie. At NEF, she’s the mastermind behind decarbonising India’s roads, rails, and skies, weaving public policy with eco-friendly flair. She uses economics and public policies to steer transport and energy off fossil fuels and onto cleaner, quicker paths.

Yash, a postgraduate from Ambedkar University Delhi, is NEF’s expert on geopolitics and international intrigue. He decodes global power plays like a chess grandmaster, keeping the team ahead of the curve on worldly affairs. His knack for connecting dots between trade wars and diplomatic spats is legendary.

Grace is NEF’s champion of all things farming, with a laser focus on the fields of Punjab and Haryana. From crop policies to land laws, she’s got the rural beat covered, advocating for farmers with the passion of a monsoon storm. Her deep dives into agricultural issues are as nourishing as a fresh roti.

Areeka Mir, having completed her LLM from Amity University, is the team’s go-to for all things legal. She navigates the labyrinth of business laws with the finesse of a courtroom rockstar, ensuring NEF’s policies are as airtight as a pickle jar. Whether it’s drafting contracts or untangling regulatory knots, Areeka has it covered for NEF.

Nishant is a Mathematics and Computing Graduate from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He is a sociology and social media specialist, is the heartbeat of NEF’s outreach and media game. He spins stories and organises events that make economic policy sound as exciting as a Bollywood blockbuster. With a knack for turning complex ideas into viral tweets, he’s the team’s social media sorcerer.

Hemant is the unsung hero who keeps NEF’s chaotic brilliance running like a well-oiled machine. Handling day-to-day operations and administrative wizardry, he ensures the team stays on track (and doesn’t lose their coffee mugs). With a knack for solving logistical puzzles, Hemant’s the guy who makes impossible deadlines possible.
